Sim-Sport's simulator chassis is a truly unique product. While most of our competitors choose to build "skeleton" style chassis we emulate real race cockpits. We feel that being "enclosed" in a cockpit as you would be a physical world racecar makes the sim experience more realistic. In addition our design offers plenty of space for custom graphics that make your sim however you want! The cockpit offers many areas of adjustment so you can tweak it to fit exactly your needs. The floor is pre-drilled to accept most major brands of sliding seat mounts (we recommend Sparco). The chassis comes with multiple seat mounts so you can set seat height where you like it. The desktop offers enough space for large single monitors or the room for most triple monitor mounts. We recommend and sell the Ergotech mounts. Incorporated into the desktop are adjustable plates for mounting steerng wheel and shifters at the distances you prefer. In addition you can also purchase an internal shifter or mouse mount table or tables. Because the units are wood they are also very easy for users to customize. Our chassis are made of heavy duty 3/4 inch wood panels. All of our SR's are cut on a large CNC machine and hand finished. Using furniture building techniques the chassis incorporates threaded brass inserts and stainless steel hardware ensuring that the components can be dis-assembled and re-assembled as many times as necessary. Our design also allows the unit to be lifted onto it's back panel and stored upright. |
